As a not-for-profit Society,  Wapiti Nordic relies on Memberships and day pass revenues, program fees (usually cost recovery or a little more), corporate sponsorships (still some work to do here!) and grant opportunities at the local community, municipal, and Provincial levels. 

2025 to date:
  • $5,000 - City of Grande Prairie Sport Hosting grant (Alberta Cup - Jan 2025)
  • $5,000 - County of Grande Prairie Event Sponsorship grant (Alberta Cup - Jan 2025) 

2024:
  • $31,000 - County of Grande Prairie Alberta Winter Games Legacy grant (Skandic, metal gates, timing clocks & wax benches)
  • $5,000 - City of Grande Prairie - Operating grant
  • $5,000 - County of Grande Prairie - Operating grant to support program expenses
