Learn the Trails & Trail Safety Clinic:
New Date Coming, upstairs in the Steve Cooper Lodge
Cost:
Free clinic for members, with a valid annual membership
One of the most common questions we get is "Where should I go for a ski?" -Not a simple answer since we have 35km of groomed trails that cater to different experience levels and skill. For new skiers or trail users or those wanting to try new trails- this clinic will get you informed and prepared to venture out on the Wapiti Nordic trail system.
The Clinic  will cover-
  • Wapiti Nordic trail map familiarization
  • Identify trails for each skill level
  • Teach you how to use mapping apps- Avenza and Trail forks
  • Trail safety- what to do if you get hurt on the trails, what you need to know
  • Identify trail hazards or risks
The Learn the Trails & Trail Safety Clinics will take place several times throughout the winter season. We want to ensure all our trail users are feeling safe and comfortable on our trails system.

The Wax room is open for waxing (self-initiated).  The wax room is free of charge and available for anyone to use.  Irons are available for waxing your skis. There is a box of donated wax that is free to use. Please clean the wax room after you use it- vacuum the counter and floors. Thanks!
