Wear: Be sure to bring: headlamp (yes we go beyond Electric Ave), water bottle (you'll be surprised how thirsty you can get in the cold), temperature appropriate upper & lower body layers (not cotton), warm socks (but leave room for toes to wiggle), and gloves or mitts. Further info on how to dress for cross country skiing here

Rentals: Are available on a first come, first served basis for $5 / night for WNSC members or $10 for Non Members (includes boots, skis & poles). If you need rentals, please arrive by at least 6:45pm so you can be fitted and ready to ski by 7:15pm. Rental room closes at 7:10pm sharp. Cash or cheque only.

The group will be split into levels of ability. If you are a complete beginner we recommend that you take some Adult Lessons first to get the most out of your Chicks on Sticks experience.
