* Cold temperature limits: The lodge will not be opened if temperatures (including wind chill) are -30c or colder. Same with blizzard or freezing rain conditions. Rental room closes at -21c or colder.
Ski trails and Multi use trails are open 24/7- please do not walk or bike on the ski trails as we continually groom the trails for the ski season. Instead, walk, fat bike and snowshoe on the multiuse trails system. The multiuse trials are the trails marked with a yellow diamond and flagging tape.
Please purchase a day pass or Annual Membership before you use the trails ~ Thank you!!
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 8:30pm

- Saturday & Sunday- 9:00am - 5:00pm
- Rentals are available Saturday & Sunday @12-3pm (for 1.5 hour)

- Trail Reports posted regularly as the trails are groomed for skiing. Trail maps are also available for printing.

If the lodge is closed, outhouses are available off the main parking lot behind the timing tower or at the biathlon range.
Group fire pit is only available by submitting a booking request.

Lower floor: waxing tables, equipment rental, washrooms with shower, outdoor deck.
Upper floor: meeting space, wood burning stove, kitchen, wheelchair accessible washroom, outdoor deck.
Sorry - Wapiti Nordic does not permit private lodge rentals for weddings etc.
WNSC members and day pass holders are welcome to use the Lodge for cross country ski activities for personal recreation purposes and club programs. Unfortunately, due to the demands placed on volunteers, we do not rent out the lodge for third party events (e.g. weddings) unless the group wishes to incorporate trail activities e.g. ski, snowshoe, run, hike. See our Group Use page. Members can always access the trails (see updated conditions) 24/7, and there are pit toilets beside the lodge.

We are very fortunate to have approximately 5km of lit trails at Wapiti Nordic. Lights are turned on from 5:00pm - 9:00pm on Monday - Friday evenings on the following trails (see Complete Trail System map):
Summer Hours
The Lodge does not open in the Summer; membership includes trail access only. Pit toilets are available beside the Lodge and at Biathlon Stadium.

The Wax room:
- Open for waxing (self initiated) anytime the lodge is opened
- The wax room is free of charge and available for anyone to use
- Irons are available for waxing your skis
- There is a box of donated wax that is free for you to use if you need
- Please clean the wax room after you use it (counter and floors- scrape, vacuum and sweep)

Lodge Etiquette:
- Personal items are left at owner's risk - indoors and outdoors
- Please remove muddy shoes or boots
- Knock off excessive snow from footwear before entering the building
- No smoking indoors or on any of the outdoor decks
- Water in the kitchen is not potable / for consumption. Please bring your own.
- Use caution in the waxing room - the floor can be slippery
- Use common sense and tidy up afterwards: put tables & chairs away, do not leave any food items
